Still Not Asking For It Trauma-Informed Tattoo Trainings
In preparation for this year’s Still Not Asking For It flash event, I will be offering two dates of “Intro to Trauma-Informed Tattooing” for participants.
This workshop serves as an introduction to the concept of trauma-informed and healing-centered tattooing. It will discuss nervous system responses to tattooing and practices to facilitate a safer and more empowering experience for clients. We will cover good communication and consent practices, trust-building with clientele, and how to approach our work beyond basic customer service. We will also address common misconceptions about trauma-informed practices and how to approach this framework in a way that is sustainable for ourselves as artists.
Hourlong pre-recorded versions of the workshops are also available via digital download in the Shop section of the site.

$10-40 sliding scale (payment can be made via Venmo to @tamara-santibanez or PayPal). Registration is FREE for Black and Indigenous tattooers.
